Then, integrated at last, the textile creations can lie joyfully and imposingly onto the bed and the chest, on the sofa, the armchair and the table, they can give an air of nobility to tie doors and to the windows, mingling with the glorious and majestic sunlight, they can paint vivid and erotically your walls, they can dress your life with beauty, hope, optimism and durability.
The passing from Ariadne to Penelope, from the thread to the patterns’ labyrinth, from the warp to the textile, continues its course in time and reaches our days proud, imposing and generous… But also, essential for our life’s value and quality.
In the Penelope’s weaving workshop in Chalki of Naxos, beside her wondrous loom, which functions all day with its brisk pace emitting its own special music, you’ll find another meaning in the everyday’s life.
